A prestigious hotel operating nationwide is seeking three highly experienced and innovative Executive Chefs to lead culinary operations across multiple properties. We are looking for dynamic leaders who can elevate the dining experience, uphold exceptional kitchen standards, and drive consistent operational excellence.
Job Description
The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, creative menu development, and efficient kitchen management. This role supervises the kitchen team, manages food costs, ensures compliance with food safety regulations, and maintains consistent culinary standards across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Kitchen Management
Lead and manage all kitchen operations across assigned outlets
Train, mentor, and supervise sous chefs and kitchen staff
Develop work schedules and ensure adequate staffing
Conduct performance evaluations and implement training plans
Menu Development & Culinary Standards
Develop innovative menus, seasonal offerings, and banquet selections
Standardize recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines
Ensure food quality, flavor, and consistency meet brand standards
Integrate new culinary techniques and stay updated on food trends
Operational Efficiency
Oversee kitchen workflow to ensure timely and efficient service
Implement cost-control measures such as waste reduction and portion management
Supervise procurement and maintain accurate inventory levels
Coordinate with suppliers for high-quality ingredients and competitive pricing
Food Safety & Compliance
Enforce strict sanitation, hygiene, and food safety regulations
Conduct regular kitchen inspections and maintain compliance documentation
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of all food items
Financial Management
Manage kitchen budgets and achieve food cost targets
Analyze sales and adjust menu prices as needed
Monitor daily production to ensure cost efficiency
Collaboration & Guest Experience
Work closely with F&B, banquet, and service teams for seamless operations
Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic planning
Address guest feedback and execute improvements when necessary
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior-level Sous Chef
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Deep knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and menu planning
Experience in food costing, purchasing, and inventory management
Ability to perform well under pressure and lead a large culinary team
Culinary degree or related certification is an advantage
