Position Overview

The Receiving & Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of goods entering and leaving the warehouse. This includes ensuring compliance with receiving and dispatch procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and safeguarding the security and organization of the docking area. The role supports overall warehouse efficiency and plays a vital part in inventory accuracy and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all receiving and dispatch operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and procedures.
  • Verify and process returns, stock transfers, damaged goods, and transfer requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular checks and effective tracking of stock movement.
  • Monitor the movement and submission of receiving documents for timely system encoding by the Inventory Clerk.
  • Manage the disposal and documentation of scrap materials and empty cartons in line with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse management processes is a plus.
