Warehouse Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Encoding and System Updates:

• Accurately encode all warehouse transactions (receiving, issuing, transfers, returns, and adjustments) into the inventory system.
• Maintain real-time updates of stock levels to support production and purchasing departments.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Monitor data accuracy and flag inconsistencies or errors for immediate correction.

2. Receiving and Dispatch Documentation:

• Assist in the receiving of goods by checking delivery documents (e.g., Delivery Receipts, Purchase Orders) and verifying actual item quantity and quality.
• Encode received items into the system and ensure proper documentation and filing.
• Support dispatch operations by preparing and encoding delivery documents (e.g., Gate Passes, Transfer Slips).

3. Inventory Monitoring and Warehouse Coordination:

• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of stocks (FIFO).
• Support cycle counting and periodic inventory audits.
• Assist in tracking item expiry dates, lot numbers, and product batch codes.

4. Records Management and Reporting:

• Maintain organized and complete records of inventory transactions, both digital and physical.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for internal audits, compliance checks, and management reporting.

5. Compliance and Safety:

• Comply with Good Warehouse Practices (GWP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse area.
• Adhere to company protocols for data security and inventory documentation.

Qualifications:

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• With basic knowledge or background in inventory encoding or warehouse operations (through OJT, internship, or coursework).
• Preferably a graduate of Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or any related course.
• Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or inventory software/ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willing to work in a warehouse setting and render overtime or shifting schedules if needed.
