JJA Travel and Tours is seeking a results-driven and creative Sales and Marketing Officer to lead initiatives that promote our travel services and generate business growth. The role requires strong communication skills, marketing strategy knowledge, and a passion for creating memorable travel experiences for clients. You'll be responsible for building client relationships, executing marketing campaigns, and identifying market opportunities to help the company grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales: Promote and sell travel products such as holiday packages, flight tickets, hotel bookings, and tours. Develop and maintain relationships with individual and corporate clients, schools, and institutions.
  • Client Management: Customize itineraries and proposals based on client needs; handle client inquiries, close deals, and follow up for repeat business.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Design and execute digital and offline marketing efforts including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content distribution.
  • Market Research: Monitor industry trends and competitors; gather customer feedback to improve services and strategies.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent service before, during, and after the travel experience—including travel advice, visa support, and insurance assistance.
  • Reporting: Prepare weekly or monthly reports and maintain organized records of bookings, communications, and financials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Preferably with experience in sales and/or marketing within the travel, tours or hospitality.
  • Prior experience with ground handling services (airport transfer, hotel coordination, meet & greet, transport logistics) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of travel and tours operations, including local and foreign attractions, tour packaging and accommodation arrangements.
  • Skilled in preparing customized travel itineraries and costings.
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication in English (additional language is a plus)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of generating sales/marketing reports.
