Dextrans Worldwide is a unique Logistics Solutions Provider operating its network of offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Korea, and Taiwan. It offers connectivity for international freight management services in 10 Asian countries with 25 Dextrans owned sites and 250 people. Through these sites it connects to 1200 other service points worldwide through its agencies network.

JOB SUMMARY

Primarily provides customer service support to assist in the fulfillment of all requirements of clients. Relatedly, conducts sales and marketing assistance to BDEs/CSS and house accounts to contribute to the achievement of the company's sales targets, including maintenance of clients and acquisition of new ones.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides sales support that merits the requirements of the sales organization.
  • Responsible for inquiring standard and special rates/charges from agents, carriers and consolidators.
  • Responsible for prompt reply to rate inquiries of agents for MBL collect.
  • Prepares and sends out proposals to clients within parameters and organizes the adequate follow-up.
  • Ensures adequate action and reports on complaint of customers.
  • Secures all necessary information in the assessment of credit worthiness of clients.
  • Finalizes in advance S.O.P., S.I., B.S.I. for self-generated business of BDEs/CSS and house accounts.
  • Collect market data (including behavior of competitors) and informs all parties involved.
  • Assures customers relations in absence and non-availability of BDE/CSS.
  • Proper maintenance and filing of client records.
  • Submit all required activity reports to the Country Manager and/or immediate supervisor or other parties involved.
  • Ensures satisfaction of existing customers and maintaining lasting relationship with them.
  • Telesales to BDE/CSS clients and house account with no shipments.
  • Attend to trainings required by Country Manager/BDE/CSS and/or immediate superior.
  • Attend to sea freight and/or air freight bidding requirements of BDE/CSS clients.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned by superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any four-year course. Graduate of Marketing courses is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Experience in the same capacity is an advantage.
  • High level of customer relation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
