The Collections Officer will report to and work directly under the respective Department Head.

The entire job will be based on quantitative Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as:

  • Maintenance of charged-off and delinquent accounts at or below established goals
  • Maintenance of accurate and complete records of all collection and recovery activity
  • Insurance that all collection activity is within the company procedure, while conforming to regulations
  • Reports on the status of all current and non-current accounts to the Department Head
  • Work Attendance per month

The candidate must be confident in hitting the target monthly KPIs and must pass a rigorous 2-month testing period.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple accounts for delinquency and loan debt collection efforts. Contact delinquent and negative share accounts by phone or other appropriate channels
  • Analyze borrowers' financial situations, provide basic financial counseling, negotiate arrangements, and/or resolve borrower service issues to bring their accounts current
  • Make recommendations to management, when appropriate, for stronger collection actions
  • Coordinate with the Loan Officers as to additional information on the student borrowers
  • Informs management of trends in loan underwriting that contribute to delinquent/charged-off loans
  • Identify potential underwriting problems and inform management of the same
  • Make contact and ensure that guarantors and co-borrowers on delinquent accounts are promptly and continuously notified of the status of any delinquent account they have endorsed
  • Send out past due notices for delinquent accounts or for missed settlement payments
  • Liaise with the student borrowers
  • Report address changes and maintain files regarding debtors for correct and current contact information
  • Compile reports on delinquent accounts and report missed payments to the Department Head

Qualifications:

  • With at least 2 years of working experience in collections
  • Can start working either on 10 November 2025 or 1 December 2025
