Position Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented College Intern pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, with a focus on Business Intelligence (BI), Power BI, UI design, data analysis, and related fields. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transforming data into actionable insights, designing user-friendly dashboards, and supporting IT solutions that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key business metrics.
  • Support data collection, cleansing, and analysis to uncover trends and insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for BI solutions and user interfaces.
  • Design intuitive UI elements and prototypes for reporting and data visualization tools.
  • Aid in the integration of data sources and database management activities.
  • Contribute to the documentation of BI processes, dashboards, and data workflows.
  • Support troubleshooting, testing, and deployment of BI solutions and IT tools.
  • Research emerging BI trends, visualization best practices, and innovative UI techniques.
  • Participate in team meetings and project planning sessions.

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or related field.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence concepts and tools, especially Power BI.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, or R.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of databases, data modeling, and data integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
