Job Summary:

The IT Intern will provide support to the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and network systems across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience in troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with system upgrades, and supporting users with day-to-day IT needs. The intern will gain practical exposure to IT operations and contribute to improving technology efficiency within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Provide technical support to employees through in-person, phone, or remote assistance.
  • Support system and network monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
  • Help maintain IT documentation, including inventory of hardware/software and user manuals.
  • Assist in data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Participate in system upgrades, software rollouts, and other IT projects.
  • Research and recommend improvements in IT processes, tools, and security.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the IT team.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Job Type: OJT (On the job training)

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to Php250.00 per day
