Digital Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing Manager under the Shared Marketing Services team plays a crucial role in developing and executing effective online marketing strategies to achieve organizational goals.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives, target audience, and budget. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly track and analyze campaign performance to make data-driven decisions, in collaboration with our Agency Partners.
2. Online Advertising: Plan and execute online advertising campaigns across various platforms including search engine optimization (SEO), social media advertising, etc. Monitor ad performance, optimize campaigns for maximum ROI, and allocate budgets effectively.
3. Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for various digital channels, such as websites, blogs, and social media platforms. Ensure content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and tailored to the target audience.
4. Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand presence, engage with the audience, and drive website traffic. Monitor social media trends, manage social media accounts, schedule posts, and interact with users to build a strong online community.
5. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Stay updated with SEO best practices and optimize websites and content to improve organic search rankings and drive relevant traffic. Conduct keyword research, monitor website performance, and implement on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
6. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics and generate reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations. Utilize tools like Google Analytics to track website traffic, conversions, and user behavior.
7. Team Management and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Digital Marketing Agency Partners to execute initiatives while coaching the Digital Marketing Supervisor. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure effective teamwork and communication to achieve marketing goals.
8. Industry Trends and Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices through research, attending industry events, and continuous learning. Implement innovative strategies and tools to stay ahead of the competition
JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Minimum Educational Attainment, Minimum Relevant Work Experience, Other Skills/Competencies required)
Minimum Educational Attainment:
● A College graduate of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field provided that the candidate has the required relevant work experience indicated and with the approval of the hiring manager and department head.
Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
● 4-7 years of professional experience in digital marketing, online advertising, or a related field. This experience should include hands-on experience in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
Other Skills/Competencies Required:
1. Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and lead a team. The ability to delegate tasks, provide guidance and support, and foster collaboration and teamwork.
2. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, content management systems (CMS), email marketing software, and social media management tools. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website CMS platforms is also beneficial.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting: Proficient in analyzing digital marketing data, generating reports, and deriving actionable insights. Strong numerical and analytical skills to measure campaign performance, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.
4. Creativity and Innovation: Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking to develop engaging content, creative campaigns, and unique strategies to differentiate the brand in the digital space.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas, create compelling content, and interact with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Copywriting and storytelling abilities are highly valued.
6. Adaptability and Continuous Learning: The ability to adapt to changing digital marketing trends, technologies, and algorithms. A mindset of continuous learning to stay updated with industry developments, emerging platforms, and best practices.
7. Project Management: Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor multiple digital marketing initiatives simultaneously. Ability to meet deadlines, manage resources, and handle budgets effectively.
8. Business Acumen: Understanding of business objectives, market dynamics, and consumer behavior. The ability to align digital marketing strategies with broader business goals and contribute to overall organizational growth.
