Accounting and Finance Supervisor

1. Facilitate the successful execution of company goals and project objectives.

2. Responsible for financial matters, including books and records, budgeting, cash management and financial reporting.

3. Coordinate with third party financial relationships, including debt and equity sources, banks, external auditor and government agencies.

4. Work on multiple projects, with varying level of priority, and meeting the agreed timeline of each tasks as planned.

5. Review the works of each accounting staff such as disbursements, tax compliances, statutory reporting (SSS, PHIC and HDMF) collections, cash position, bank transactions and other related accounting and finance works.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for all phases of accounting, include among other things the following responsibilities:

2. Gathering of all transaction documents daily.

3. Check all documents to ensure everything is in order; otherwise, issues or concerns should be resolved immediately.
4. Record the transactions from the documents to proper accounts in the QuickBooks
5. Make sure that the monthly transactions are recorded and completed no later than 12th day of the current month.
6. Produce monthly financial statements for each Business Units (Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement - If applicable) not later than 15th day of the current month.
7. Reconcile all necessary accounts in the Balance Sheet and selected accounts in the Profit & Loss Statement. This includes monthly bank reconciliation, PPE and prepayments lapsing schedule, etc.

8. Submit the monthly financial reports with analysis (comprising of P & L, B/S and Cash Flow and schedules stated in Item 5 and 6 above), not later than 17th day of the current month.

9. Review check vouchers and attached necessary supporting documents for company related disbursements. Making sure transactions are authorized by the applicable approving Company / Department officer and payables are paid before due date to avoid penalty charges.

10. Review computation of billings making sure all is in accordance with executed contracts and/or agreements.

11. Review payroll to verify it with employment contracts, salary packages and that computation is in line with existing laws, as may be applicable before proceeding with bank upload.

12. Prepare and review tax returns for employee withholding tax, creditable withholding tax, value added tax (Vat) income tax (others whichever is applicable). Ensure that these returns follow the prescribed computations, recognition and rates by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

13. Prepare and review statutory compliances ensure that these reports follow the prescribed computations, recognition and rates by regulatory agencies such as SSS, PHIC and HDMF.

14. Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating and accounting procedures to mitigate accounting and internal control risks.

15. Perform other related jobs as required by the immediate Superior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accountancy or similar program
• At least 3-5 years working experience in relevant field is required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be a pro-active worker who can work with minimum to no supervision
• Must be willing to work in Muntinlupa City
• Can start ASAP

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
