About the role:

We're looking for a seasoned humanitarian leader to serve as Country Director for our Philippines operations. This role will lead country strategy, drive organizational impact, and represent the organization to key partners, donors, and stakeholders.

The Country Director will provide vision and leadership to ensure operational excellence, strategic alignment, and sustainable growth — empowering teams and communities to build long-term resilience.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Humanitarian & Emergency Response Leadership – Proven experience leading relief and development initiatives in the Philippines; strong grasp of DRR frameworks and community resilience.
  • People-Centered Leadership – Inspires and empowers multicultural teams; promotes accountability, inclusion, and learning.
  • Fundraising & Partnerships – Skilled in donor engagement, resource mobilization, and building high-impact relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial Drive – Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, innovation mindset, and results orientation.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years' experience in relief, development, or humanitarian sectors (5+ years in senior management).
  • Strong financial management, stakeholder engagement, and organizational leadership experience.
  • Advanced degree preferred (International Relief & Development or related field).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%; medical fitness for field conditions.
  • Experience in complex, global, or faith-based organizations is a plus.
