Senior Lead Data Analyst

The rapid growth and diversification of the business, including the creation of Asset Owner Solutions ("AOS"), has prompted the requirement for a position within the Data Solutions team. The individual will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of data collation requests and client reports, as well as working with various teams within IS for new client onboarding.

Job DescriptionJob Summary:The primary technical expert responsible for validating extracted/collected data and ensuring quality standards. This role serves as the ultimate subject matter expert for the team, leading technical decisions and process innovations while providing authoritative guidance on data collection and extraction.

Core Responsibilities:Assist in review of extracted/collected data using prescribed guidelines and guidance. Ensure integrity and consistency during the extraction process and maintain accurate and timely processing of data extraction/collection. Liaise with internal stakeholders, addressing queries and issues.

Ensure compliance with relevant standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies. Establish and maintain technical best practices. Maintain strong knowledge of client-specific requirements.

Drive technical excellence and innovation in the processes. Lead development of technical standards and methodologies within the team. Review and maintain the data accuracy shown in client reports and dashboards.

Final review and delivery of reporting for various clients' portfolios within agreed timeframes. Review ETL processes: extract data from PDFs, web forms, Excel; transform and load into relevant repositories. Provide initial observations and ad-hoc analysis/reports to stakeholders per client requirements.

Document exceptions, prepare error reports, and propose corrective actions. Coordinate with team members on deadlines and workload planning. Represent the team in meetings and internal discussions.

Address complex client issues, making decisions on treatments and escalating when necessary. Improve extraction processes for efficiency and quality. Monitor and ensure resolution of review comments and queries within timeframes.

Assist in client onboarding and change requests related to data tasks. Monitor client deliverables as per SLAs. Stay updated on new methodologies, standards, and regulations.

Track work progress via timesheets. Participate in training programs. Collaborate across functions within the organization.

Ensure procedures, checklists, and audits are followed to minimize risk. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsEducational Background:Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related.

Professional Experience:Minimum 6 years relevant data analysis experience, with exposure to visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), ETL processes (SQL, Snowflake), and Macro/VBA.Proven track record as a data analytics subject matter expert. Skills and Key Behaviours:Demonstrate knowledge in data extraction tools, MS SQL/Data Warehouse, data storytelling, visualization, and strong analytical skills. Exhibit professionalism, attention to detail, collaboration, proactive issue resolution, and the ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
