About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Welcome Bank (Rural Bank), Inc. in our Ortigas, Pasig City office. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the bank's technology infrastructure and ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services to support our business objectives. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in driving digital transformation and innovation within the banking industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and lead the IT team to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure IT solutions
  2. Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the bank's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems
  3. Continuously assess and improve IT processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
  4. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and address their technology needs
  5. Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to align with the bank's overall objectives
  6. Monitor and analyse IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  7. Manage IT budgets and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective IT operations
  8. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the bank

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  2. Proven track record of leading and motivating IT teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure technology solutions
  3. Extensive knowledge of banking IT systems, including core banking, digital banking, and compliance-related technologies
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address technology-related issues
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with business stakeholders and IT teams
  6. Project management expertise to oversee the successful implementation of IT initiatives
  7. Understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance requirements in the banking industry
  8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
