Technical Lead

Role description

1. Scope of Work:

2. Develop and maintain application containers using Quarkus (Java), , Python, C#, and Go.

3. Design and optimize database interactions with MS SQL and PostgreSQL.

4. Implement Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments.

5. Utilize Dapr for distributed application runtime.

6. Deploy and manage applications on Azure Container Apps (ACA).

7. Implement messaging and event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus (ASB).

8. Manage and secure APIs through Azure API Management (APIM).

9. Work within Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation and release management.

10. Develop SOAP and REST APIs to support integration with bank systems.

11. Ensure system compliance with banking security standards and regulatory requirements.

2. Deliverables:

• Development and deployment of required application components.

• Integration of ISMS with other systems and third-party APIs.

• Implementation of secure and scalable infrastructure.

• Documentation of technical designs, implementation details, and best practices.

• Participation in testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Knowledge transfer and training for internal teams as needed.

3. Performance Metrics:

• Code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Timely completion of development and integration tasks.

• System performance and scalability improvements.

• Successful deployment and minimal post-production issues.

• Effective collaboration with stakeholders and knowledge sharing.

4. Terms & Conditions:

• Compliance with bank policies on data security and confidentiality.

• Adherence to project timelines and agreed milestones.

• Intellectual property rights and deliverables to be owned by the bank.

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java developer.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong expertise in Java (Quarkus, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks), Angular or React TS/JS, and Postman collection

• Experience in API development (SOAP, REST).

• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud technologies (ACA, ASB, APIM).

• Proficiency in containerization and microservices architecture.

• Strong database skills with MS SQL, PostgreSQL.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• Familiarity with Dapr for distributed application development.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Integration Knowledge

• Experience integrating with third-party applications.

• Ability to work with secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.

Certification (if applicable)

• CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certifications.
