We're Hiring: Unit Manager

Clark, Pampanga | Onsite | Dayshift

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the Clark business unit

  • Identify and implement operational cost-saving and improvement initiatives

  • Define, monitor, and optimize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and resource utilization

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

  • Prepare, manage, and communicate operational budgets

  • Lead, guide, and develop a high-performing operations team

  • Ensure full compliance with local and international regulations, as well as company and customer policies

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement action plans to address operational issues

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall unit performance

  • Oversee accountability, control, and internal audit of petty cash (no direct handling)

  • Supervise Operations Manager, Section Heads, and Supervisors

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; MBA is an advantage

  • At least 8–10 years of relevant work experience

  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in airline catering or a closely related industry

  • Background in food, in-flight catering, airlines, supply chain, or similar industries is an advantage

  • Strong experience in financial management and budget planning and execution

  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams of managers and supervisors

  • Experience working outside the Philippines is an advantage

  • Strong customer service and/or account management background is a plus

  • Demonstrated innovation and change management experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong business, technical writing, and mathematical skills

  • Good understanding of business principles, reporting, and data interpretation

  • Ability to analyze financial data, compute rates and percentages, and apply accounting principles

  • Familiarity with catering-related software is an advantage

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Relevant certificates, licenses, or registrations

  • Candidates with related industry experience are preferred

  • Valid driver's license is a plus but not required

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use hands and arms for work tasks

  • Requires close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
