Unit Manager

Work Address: Clark, Pampanga

Work Set-up: On-site

Work Schedule: Day shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following; but not limited to other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Be responsible for all day to day requirements of the business unit in Clark.

• Be an innovator, by permanently identifying operational cost saving opportunities.

• Define Key Performance Indicators as required and to continuously monitor highest operational performance/quality in order to find optimal utilization levels of available resources.

• Maintain and foster company's relationships with all customers of the units.

• Demonstrate financial judgment by ensuring operational budgets are created accurately and that they are communicated to the individual stakeholders in the unit.

• Monitor, review and guide your direct operational reports to work together as a high performing team.

• Continuously develop and improve the skills of the operational team members.

• Take full ownership to lead compliance adherence of the unit to all local and international regulatory requirements and customer- and internal policies and procedures.

• If required, perform root-cause analysis and create robust action- and business improvement plans in order to avoid negative impact on the operational performance.

• Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities to drive the unit's performance forward.

• This position has no responsibility over petty cash funds but should oversee accountability, control and internal audit of the fund.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee Operations Manager, Section Heads, Supervisors of Unit

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, an MBA degree an advantage, preferably with experience in manufacturing environment.

• Has At least 8-10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for thi position.

• Background in Food, In-flight catering, Airlines, Supply Chain or equivalent an advantage.

• Minimum ten years successful track record as a Manager or Assistant Manager in the Airline Catering- or closely related industry required.

• Work experience in the industry outside the Philippines is an advantage

• Solid finance and budget establishment- and execution experience are a requirement

• Proven experience of successfully managing a team of Managers and Supervisors in an operational environment is required.

• Previous customer service and/or account management experiences are an advantage of the successful candidate.

• Strong innovation track record and proof that change management principles were applied in earlier jobs.

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to explain complex data and should be a creative thinker and problem-solver, applying analytical skills to the organization.

• Employee must also have good acumen in business and technical writing. Writes and distributes complex and technical computation and proposal subject to management approval; receives and analyzes data, proposals and review of contract.

• Mathematical Skills

• High aptitude in generally accepted business principles and related areas of expertise.

• Moderate to high comprehension skills in interpreting reports generation as well as presentation of facts and figures.

• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs as well as apply accurate generally accepted accounting principles in determining favorable competitive price positions for the company.

• Familiarity with Catering-related software an advantage.

• Candidate with relevant background and experience in the same field is also given preference.

• Employee with valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Pay: Php120, Php150,000.00 per month
