About the role

As the Operations Manager at SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION', you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing and logistics facilities in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to driving operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate all manufacturing, production, and distribution activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance the overall operational performance
  3. Oversee inventory management, quality control, and maintenance of equipment and facilities
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and finance, to align operations with the overall business objectives
  5. Identify and resolve operational issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve processes
  6. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, and other operational personnel
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of at least 5 years in a similar operations management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
  2. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and supply chain management principles
  3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  4. Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  7. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operations management
