Overview

In this role, you will play a key part in managing day-to-day financial operations, including reconciliation, accounting tasks, and transaction processing. By relieving the team of finance workload, you'll help ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all financial activities. This is a full-time, remote position requiring 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST). The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the finance team by managing daily accounting and financial tasks.
  • Handle reconciliations, debits, credits, and general bookkeeping activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure all financial records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and support business operations.

Qualifications

  • Base knowledge of general accounting principles required.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with property management software (AppFolio), phone systems (Nextiva), and Adobe for documentation/design is a plus.
