About the role

Bio 101 Conctruction is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Ermita Manila City Metro Manila. As a full-time Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, and supporting the overall financial management of our growing construction business.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and monitoring cash flow
  • Maintain general ledger, prepare monthly financial statements, and assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them to enhance the efficiency of financial operations

What we're looking for

  • 2-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, ideally within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, financial reporting, and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
