Position Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for Nexplay. This role focuses on B2B partnerships, strategic alliances, and client acquisition, particularly within the e-commerce, creator, and digital advertising ecosystems. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales closer with strong industry networks, excellent communication skills, and a go-getter mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities to expand Nexplay's client portfolio across industries such as e-commerce, FMCG, entertainment, and digital advertising.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with prospects, partners, and key decision-makers.
  • Lead the entire business development cycle—from prospecting, pitching, proposal creation, and negotiation to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Content & Creative, Creator Management, Live Operations, Finance, HR) to deliver customized solutions for clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new commercial opportunities.
  • Represent Nexplay in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand business reach.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Ensure high standards of professionalism and client satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or any related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management for B2B clients.
  • Background in the E-commerce industry or extensive exposure to digital marketing, creator/ influencer marketing is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record as a strong sales closer with measurable achievements in meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive go-getter attitude with a passion for building relationships and closing deals.
  • Strong professional network of prospects across relevant industries.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the advertising, creator, or digital entertainment sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to structure high-value commercial partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using CRM and sales tools.
