Job Summary:
The Channel Manager for Food Service is responsible for driving the company's growth and visibility within the Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés (HORECA) channel. The role leads the development and execution of channel strategies by translating shopper and consumer insights into actionable marketing and sales programs. It ensures the alignment of brand priorities with channel objectives and the effective implementation of the Picture of Success across key HORECA accounts and trade partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate sales and marketing strategies into channel-specific and regional programs to drive sales targets.
- Lead the development of shopper-centric plans and ensure shopper insights are embedded in commercial strategies.
- Identify key opportunity areas and define investment strategies across priority channels.
- Develop channel-specific POS guidelines, promotional frameworks, and execution targets.
- Monitor execution quality, ensure adherence to plans, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
- At least 5–7 years of experience in trade marketing, channel development, or commercial planning—preferably in FMCG.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience using shopper insights to guide planning.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop regionally tailored channel programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and field execution monitoring skills.
- Must be willing to do field work if data gathering and program implementation
