Our client specializes in supporting companies within the healthcare sector by providing marketing & commercial solutions across SEA & India. The current job opportunity is with my client a Singapore based, healthcare multi-national company with operations in SEA, Middle East and North Africa with established plan for global expansion. Their main focus is on sales, marketing and distribution of Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Diagnostics & OTC products.
Overview
The ideal candidate will lead the medical devices business, which is projected to contribute 35% of the company's revenue in the next five years. This senior position demands a dynamic leader with a robust background in the sales and marketing of medical devices, as well as significant experience in P&L management. The candidate will be pivotal in driving growth, stabilizing current operations, and managing a multi-faceted team in the near future.

Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborating with the CEO to set and drive the organizational vision and operational strategy.
- Translating strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
- Overseeing the company's overall operations, including finance, IT, legal, and HR, ensuring a highly inclusive culture.
- Hiring team with right capabilities, develop and mentor them to achieve objectives.
Operational Management:
- Overseeing operations, HR, and accounting.
- Partnering with the CEO in sales management to ensure sufficient investment capital for growth targets.
- Building and maintaining trusting relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Planning and achieving month on month business and sales goals.
Financial Oversight:
- Overseeing financial data and recommend solutions to improve profitability.
- Maintaining and managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) sheet for the business unit.
- Closely monitoring budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
- Preparing pricing offers, public and private procurements tenders and projects
Market and Business Development:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy for the medical devices business to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
- Enhancing brand positioning, engaging key opinion leaders, and promoting products effectively.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential challenges in the competitive environment.
- A good understanding and familiarization of the clinical Medical Device environment, competitor products – Preferably in ultrasound business

- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, partner relationship management, and identifying new revenue opportunities.

- Experience in market development and awareness.
- Expertise in revenue generation and P&L management.
- Competence in Key Account Management (KAM) and operations management.
- Experience: 10-15 years in the medical devices industry.
- Demonstrated success in sales and marketing of medical devices.
- Strong background in P&L management.
- Ability to stabilize current business operations and deliver on set objectives.
