IT ADMINISTRATOR (MAKATI)

As an IT Administrator, you are responsible for implementing, maintaining, and securing MVC's Information and Technology hardware, software, information and network connectivity. You are also responsible for identifying, initiating, and implementing IT-related projects that will improve the delivery of the company's business processes.

Some Of Your Daily Tasks Would Be

  • Network Administration

  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and security of computer hardware, network equipment, software systems and other related equipment and infrastructure for the efficient and secure functioning of the company's business operations.

  • Responsible for keeping network connectivity between the company's head office, Iligan plant, and other sites operational.

  • Information Technology - responsible for the efficient, reliable and secure operation of the company's Oracle E-Business Suite ERP System such as:

  • Conducting optimization work

  • Conducting  daily database backup and restore as needed
  • Implementing and Testing disaster recovery plans
  • Provide technical and helpdesk support to end-users
  • Acts as Website Administrator keeping company web page content and links up to date, troubleshoot problems and implement website security measures
  • Acts as Email Administrator ensuring availability, security, and performance of day to day operations of email system, user account management, security, data back up, and restoration
  • Exercise administrative control over IT personnel in accordance with company and HRD policies
  • Together with Corplan/Business Development Officer, responsible in the implementation of ISO management systems in relation to IT

What You Need To Bring

  • College graduate (BS in Computer Science or its equivalent degree)
  • Minimum of 3 years IT-related work experience; supervisory role is an advantage

  • Information Technology

  • Knowledgeable with Oracle Enterprise Linux

  • Knowledgeable with Oracle Database
  • Knowledgeable with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Administration
  • Knowledgeable with Oracle Reports Builder and Crystal Reports

  • Knowledgeable with SQL language and HTTP

  • Network Administration

  • Advanced knowledge in Windows 11 & 10 Operating Systems and troubleshooting

  • Advanced knowledge in Windows Servers and Active Directory and troubleshooting
  • Advanced knowledge in TCP/IP, VOIP and VPN and troubleshooting
  • Advanced knowledge in networking on a Wide Area Network environment and troubleshooting

  • Advanced knowledge in internet technology such as WWW, DNS and Mail Servers and troubleshooting

  • Good interpersonal skills (verbal / written communication, conflict resolution, reliability, and takes initiative)

  • Keen attention to details
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills
