Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role requires solid experience in insurance operations, systems, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for insurance-related projects (e.g., policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, product owners, and technical teams, to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose effective process or system enhancements.
  • Create business process models, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Support UAT planning, test case creation, and defect tracking to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement walkthroughs.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on insurance products, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on the insurance industry (life, non-life, or health).
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations, products, and systems.
  • Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process mapping, requirement traceability, data analysis).
  • CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA certification is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with policy administration and claims management systems.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month
