Role Purpose

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our growing team. This role will be central to preparing precise architectural drawings and documentation that bring residential design concepts to life. Working closely with architects, engineers, and consultants, the drafter will ensure that all plans meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analyze design concepts and prepare preliminary sketches based on detailed architectural instructions.
  • Develop accurate and detailed architectural documentation using Revit, with a strong focus on residential projects.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and assessors to integrate engineering documents, energy assessments, and utility applications for timely project approvals.
  • Review and oversee technical documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with design intent.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining precision and adhering to tight deadlines
  • Ensure all documentation complies with building codes, design standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address design challenges and provide practical solutions.
  • Support the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and approval packages.
  • Stay updated with architectural drafting best practices, building regulations, and software enhancements to continuously improve documentation efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience using Revit and AutoCAD in an architectural drafting role.
  • Demonstrated experience working on residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural drafting processes, documentation standards, and residential construction requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality drawings.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving and project coordination skills.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and external consultants.
  • A proactive and organized work style, ensuring projects are completed on time and to standard.

Proficient With

  • Revit (advanced proficiency required).
  • AutoCAD for drafting and file compatibility.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for project documentation and reporting.

Experience Advantage

  • Experience using Lumion or other architectural rendering/visualization software.
  • Familiarity with energy assessments, engineering documentation, and utility application processes.
  • Previous experience in fast-paced, high-volume residential project environments where accuracy and speed are critical.
