Job Description:

We are hiring a compassionate and reliable Private Caregiver to provide full-time stay-in care for an elderly patient. The role includes personal care and basic clinical tasks as instructed by the family/physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, peri-care
  • Catheter care & maintenance (emptying, monitoring output, hygiene, reporting issues)
  • Blood sugar monitoring (glucometer use, logging results, recognizing hypo/hyperglycemia signs)
  • NG tube feeding (preparation, administration, and tube/site care per protocol)
  • Medication reminders/administration as directed
  • Vital signs monitoring and health observation; promptly report changes to family/doctor
  • Meal preparation aligned with dietary restrictions (e.g., diabetic/soft diet)
  • Safe transfer and mobility assistance; light range-of-motion exercises
  • Light housekeeping related to patient care (linen changes, sanitizing care area/equipment)
  • Companionship and emotional support

Qualifications:

  • Private caregiver with proven experience in elderly care
  • Competent in catheter care, blood sugar monitoring, and NGT feeding
  • Training/Certification (e.g., Caregiving NC II or Nursing background) is an advantage
  • Patient, trustworthy, and physically able to assist with mobility
  • Can follow medical and family instructions accurately; good communication skills
