C&I Solar Construction Director

  • Based in Manila, Philippines

Experienced Solar Project Construction Director needed to lead the delivery of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects in the Philippines and Thailand, ensuring they are executed on-time, on-budget, and to the highest technical and safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage execution of all C&I solar projects in the Philippines and Thailand (rooftop, ground-mount, hybrid with BESS).
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle: detailed design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and client handover.
  • Oversee procurement of modules, inverters, mounting systems, and balance-of-system equipment.
  • Oversee project managers and site engineers to ensure construction aligns with schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Implement strong HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies, aligned with Philippines and Thailand Labor standards.
  • Act as the senior project interface with clients, distribution utilities, regulators and local governments.
  • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and risk assessments to clients and senior management.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a multinational execution team
  • Monitor project budgets, cashflows, and milestone payments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering. Master's in Engineering/PM or MBA is a plus.
  • 12–15 years in renewable energy or power infrastructure execution.
  • Minimum 5 years in senior project leadership in solar PV (C&I, utility-scale, or hybrid projects).
  • Proven track record in managing multi-site, cross-border projects in ASEAN
  • Ability to balance technical rigor, commercial priorities, and client satisfaction.
  • Cross-cultural leadership and fluent communication in English; Philippino and Thai language skills a plus.
