About the role

Bureau Veritas S.A. is seeking experienced Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineers to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of our solar energy projects in Metro Manila. What you'll be doing

  • Providing technical expertise and project management support for the design, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical, civil, and electrical components
  • Conducting site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical reviews to optimise project performance and efficiency
  • Developing and implementing robust quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Participating in the development of innovative solar technologies and sustainable energy solutions

What we're looking for

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the design, construction, or commissioning of solar PV systems
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of solar energy technologies, including photovoltaic systems, inverters, and balance of system components
  • Proficiency in project management, including the ability to develop and monitor project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes
