Heritage Career Institute is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR to support the school's outreach, branding, and internal communication efforts as aligned to the standards to the Florida State Department of Education. This role ensures that marketing initiatives align across all departments and effectively promote the institution's programs, events, and achievements.

This is a part-time position that requires up to 10 hours per week, depending on the management approval. Your permanent Shift will be during the Eastern Standard Time.

Position Summary:

Position: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Initial Employment Status: Probationary, Part-Time

Reporting To: School Director

Start Date: 1 week after signing the Offer Letter

Work Schedule: Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Rendering Hours: up to 10 hours per week (depending on the management approval)

Compensation (Monthly): 85 pesos per hour

Responsibilities of Marketing & Communications Coordinator

The Marketing & Communications Office at Heritage Career Institute plays a key role in promoting the institution's programs, events, and achievements to internal and external audiences. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will be the primary support in creating, managing, and distributing content across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging throughout all departments.

This role is responsible for assisting with social media strategy, website updates, marketing campaigns, internal communications, and the development of promotional materials. The Coordinator will work closely with all offices to ensure marketing initiatives align with institutional goals and enhance student recruitment, retention, and overall engagement.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Reports to: School Director

Collaborates with: All Offices (On the Marketing Aspect)

Primary Focus: Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications:

  • Assist in the planning and creation of social media and outreach content to promote institutional events, and achievements.
  • Update the school's official website with current information
  • Collaborate with all offices to ensure marketing alignment across departments.
  • Support in the development of marketing materials
  • Monitor social media engagement and gather insights for future promotional strategies
  • Coordinate internal communications, ensuring clear and timely dissemination of information among staff and departments
  • Support other offices related to branding, recognition, and recruitment posting
  • Additional Marketing Tasks will not be limited in this job descriptions and may be assigned by the School Director

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Experience with social media management, content creation, and website updates
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Creative, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, and organized
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and handle multiple projects
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics is a plus
  • Has keen attention to detail in to ensure accuracy of ads
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general administrative tools.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work during AM EST hours without any conflicting schedule
  • Must NOT engage in any other employment, consulting, or business activity (whether full-time or part-time) that may create a conflict of interest with the Institution.
