About the Company

We're seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer with a strong background in building large-scale enterprise applications using React/TypeScript, React Native, Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Microservices, AWS, JMS/SQS, and PostgreSQL. You'll play a key role in developing our groundbreaking product that's transforming how people get paid for the work they do every day.

Our mission is to humanize and modernize the HR and payroll experience for small businesses. We're disrupting the payroll industry with our revolutionary Pay Your Way feature, giving employees the freedom to choose their pay schedule—daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly. We're also building intuitive, flexible tools for employee management, time tracking, and direct deposit.

What We're Looking For

We want talented engineers who are passionate about building innovative solutions, have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, and a track record of delivering software that customers love. You'll have a direct impact on our product strategy, architecture, and development standards. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain a high-quality full-stack payroll platform using React and Java
  • Help build and enhance our flagship Pay Your Way feature
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to align priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Ensure high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in architecture and code quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development using:
  • Java (Spring Boot, JPA)
  • React and TypeScript
  • AWS (microservices architecture)
  • Messaging systems like JMS or Amazon SQS
  • Relational databases such as PostgreSQL
