What is the job?

The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for building end-to-end features across the frontend, backend, and database layers of MLG's AI-powered document processing platform, including user interfaces, RESTful APIs, backend logic, AI/ML integrations, and database interactions. The role collaborates closely with U.S. based architects and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and production-ready features that support document ingestion, search, and public records access.

Responsibilities:

  • Build end-to-end features across the UI, backend APIs, and databases, integrating frontend components with backend services and AI/ML pipelines.
  • Develop responsive web applications using React/Vue/Angular and apply state management with Redux, Zustand, Pinia, or similar tools.
  • Design and optimize database schemas, data access patterns, and SQL queries for PostgreSQL.
  • Build reusable UI components following design guidelines and ensure responsiveness, accessibility, and strong user interactions.
  • Develop RESTful APIs using Python (Django/FastAPI) or (Express) and implement core business logic for document workflows and user management.
  • Use AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) for code generation, testing, documentation, and debugging.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years in full stack development experience. closes, and ad-hoc strategic projects with data-driven insights.
  • Experience with any modern JavaScript framework — or Angular.
  • Backend experience using Python (Django/FastAPI) or (Express), including REST API development and integration.
  • Experience using PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, with hands-on Git/GitHub workflows and Docker for local development.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) for code generation, debugging, and test creation.
