Job Scope

The Assistant Compliance Officer supports the Compliance Officer in ensuring the company operates in accordance with all applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. This includes assisting with license and permit management, monitoring regulatory compliance, maintaining internal documentation, and coordinating with internal departments and external regulatory agencies. The position plays a key role in safeguarding the organization from legal risks, ensuring business continuity, and promoting ethical and compliant operations across the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. License and Permit Management

  2. Assist in the preparation, submission, and renewal of licenses, permits, and certifications required for company operations.

  3. Help monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for timely license and permit renewals.
  4. Maintain and update accurate records of all regulatory documents.

  5. Regulatory Compliance

  6. Monitor updates on laws, regulations, and standards relevant to the company's operations.

  7. Support in interpreting and implementing regulatory requirements across departments.
  8. Assist in conducting internal compliance checks and preparing compliance reports.

  9. Documentation Management

  10. Organize and maintain up-to-date compliance-related documentation, including licenses, permits, and registrations.

  11. Ensure all files are properly documented and readily available for audits or inspections.

  12. Communication and Coordination

  13. Coordinate with internal teams to collect information needed for compliance submissions and reports.

  14. Communicate with external regulatory agencies and consultants as directed by the Compliance Officer.

  15. Policy and Procedure Support

  16. Assist in the drafting, review, and dissemination of compliance-related policies and procedures.

  17. Help conduct orientation or training sessions on compliance guidelines when necessary.

Job Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably in Administration, Legal Studies, or Regulatory Affairs.
  • Experience or familiarity in managing licensing, registration, and regulatory compliance, preferably related to FPA and CAAP.
  • Basic understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards concerning compliance and licensing.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database/documentation management systems.
