We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounting and Compliance Officer to join our team at Carlo and Tomas Realty and Development Corp. in Davao City, Davao del Sur. We are seeking a talented Accounting and Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team at Carlo and Tomas Realty and Development Corp'. This full-time position is based in Davao City, Davao del Sur and will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant accounting and tax regulations
  • Liaising with external auditors and providing support during audits

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or compliance role is a plus
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting and tax regulation
