The Project In-Charge is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, and execution of construction projects. He/She ensures timely delivery, quality compliance, safety implementation, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle. With over 10 years of experience in handling large-scale projects, the Project In-Charge is expected to exercise strong leadership, resourcefulness, and strategic decision-making to achieve project objectives while minimizing costs and risks.

Note: This position is under a project-based contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day construction operations from site mobilization to project completion.
  • Ensure strict compliance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control project costs, implementing value engineering and cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to achieve smooth project execution.
  • Conduct project scheduling, progress monitoring, and timely reporting to management.
  • Ensure compliance with permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead project safety programs and ensure zero-accident implementation on site.
  • Provide technical solutions and make sound decisions to address construction challenges.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
  • Minimum of 10 years solid experience in handling both vertical (buildings, high-rise) and horizontal (roads, site development, utilities) projects.
  • With proven track record in managing major developer projects.
  • Strong knowledge in cost control, project budgeting, and resource optimization.
  • Adept in project management tools, construction methodologies, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Safety-oriented with strong compliance to OSH standards and DOLE regulations.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to work under pressure.
