SunStrong is seeking an experienced
Servicing Operations Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME)

who will be responsible in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This role focuses heavily on data analysis and portfolio reporting. The Servicing Operations Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME) will report directly to the Financial Serviced Operations Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance portfolio dashboards and reports using tools such snowflake, or similar platforms.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities across portfolios and business operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into clear, insightful reporting solutions.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Reconcile and validate data across servicing, accounting, and BI systems to ensure accuracy and consistency in portfolio reporting.
  • Conduct variance analysis to explain changes in cash flow, balances, and portfolio trends.
  • Provide input and support in short- to mid-term portfolio forecasting, leveraging existing data models.
  • Assist in scenario analysis and performance projections as needed.
  • Participate in regular audits and quality control reviews to ensure adherence to established operational standards.

What We're Looking For

  • At 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, portfolio reporting, or financial analysis.
  • Experience with financial services, asset management or structured finance, equivalent experience may be considered but not required
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Snowflake, or equivalent), service management tools, CRM systems, or operations management software
  • Ability to interpret large, complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently and proactively develop analyses based on business requirements, without the need for detailed direction
  • Proven ability to create forecasts and design executive-ready Excel reports that clearly communicate key insights.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong ability to adapt to change, quick to learn and to retain new information   independent, self-starter attitude with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with little to no supervision or direction
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels and across cultures.
  • Proven ability to work well across functional business organization, service-oriented, and capable of managing customer requests
