The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR department and ensuring that all HR policies and procedures are followed. They are also responsible for managing a team of HR professionals and providing guidance and support to them.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures: Responsible for creating and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Handling employee relations issues, such as employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary actions. Must ensure that all employee relations issues are handled in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Managing the performance management process, including setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Identifying training needs within the organization and developing and implementing training programs to address those needs.
  • Managing the compensation and benefits programs, including conducting salary surveys, analyzing market data, and making recommendations for salary adjustments and benefit enhancements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Promoting employee engagement and creating a positive work environment. This includes organizing employee events, implementing employee recognition programs, and fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • HR reporting and analytics: Responsible for generating HR reports and analyzing HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
