We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and energetic Sales Development Manager to support our sporting goods distribution and import business, with a focus on tennis balls, paddles, pickleball equipment, and related sports gear. This role combines administrative efficiency with sales and customer service skills to ensure smooth business operations and strong market presence. Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support:

  • Manage product inventory records, purchase orders, and sales documentation.
  • Assist in importation paperwork, coordination with customs brokers, and logistics providers.
  • Handle invoicing, delivery scheduling, and follow-up on shipments.
  • Maintain records for government permits, clearances, and certifications (FDA, BOC, DTI, etc.).
  • Coordinate internally with finance, warehouse, and external vendors or partners.

Sales & Customer Support:

  • Generate and follow up on leads with sports clubs, schools, coaches, and retailers.
  • Handle inquiries, provide product details, and process orders efficiently.
  • Build relationships with clients and partners to grow the brand presence locally.
  • Attend trade shows, sporting events, or demo days to promote products.
  • Prepare sales reports, track targets, and suggest promotional strategies.
  • Keep up to date with trends in racquet sports (tennis and pickleball) to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in admin, sales, or operations (sporting goods industry is a plus).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inventory/sales systems.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Passion or interest in racquet sports (tennis, pickleball) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in handling imports or working with customs processes is a plus.
