PURPOSE (why does the position exist, WITH what objectives and WITHIN what limits):

Monitors tax-related compliance with Local Government Units, assists in the filing of tax returns of groups of companies, submission of AFS and other documentary requirements to government agencies and record-keeping of documents.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in accountancy

A Professional License in Accountancy is an advantage.

Relevant Experience:

At least 1 year of working experience in Taxation

Business Understanding:

Kept abreast of Tax Laws and Regulations

Knowledgeable in Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) applications (e.g., Data Entry, Alphalist, eFPs, etc.)

Technical Knowledge:Communication Skills

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Tax filing, accounting, and regulatory compliance

  • Assistance in filing of tax returns, including attachments, of assigned companies to the BIR
  • Assistance in submission of Audited Financial Statements (AFS) and other documentary requirements to government agencies
  • Monitoring of tax-related compliance of companies, including their branches and properties, with the Local Government Unit (LGU)
  • Assistance on all other tax-related matters
  • Timely filing of tax returns
  • Timely submission of AFS
  • Timely compliance with LGU

Safekeeping of documents

  • Monitoring, organizing and safekeeping of tax-related documents and correspondence with government agencies.
  • Maintaining readily available tax-related documents

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php21, Php30,000.00 per month
