The Analyst, Goods Category (Accounts Payable) position will be directly employed to Energy Development Corporation.

The position is responsible for the timely and accurate settlement of EDC group's obligations, ensuring payment transactions are valid and duly authorized by approving authorities. Responsible for the completeness of liabilities and proper withholding of transactional taxes. This position requires strong analytical skills and understanding of contracts and obligations of the Company as well as the related policies, procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely/accurate settlement of payables with vendors & employees
  • Reviews and validates bills, employee advances, reimbursements, and vendor documents
  • Handles tax withholdings, penalties, payroll deductions, and funding requirements
  • Prepares JE adjustments, accruals, reconciliations, and correcting entries
  • Supports finance operations budget/outlook preparation and insurance claims
  • Performs SAP-FICO AP, Coupa, and Happay super user role
  • SPOC for Continuous Improvement and Finance Library
  • Ensures proper records transmittal and safekeeping

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or related course. Must have a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License.
  • Preferably with at least 1 year experience in Accounts Payable, but fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply
  • Proficiency in Microsoft/Google Applications
  • Average written and oral communication skills
  • Average analytical skills
  • Preferably with Leadership Potential
  • Preferably familiar with the Company's policies and procedures
  • Ability to deal with people regardless of position, status and discipline
  • Preferably has SAP Competency
  • Willing to work on a hybrid work setup (5x RTO/month)
  • Willing to be report to Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
