Job Summary

The Data Analyst (Certified Public Accountant) is a specialized role that merges traditional accounting knowledge with advanced data analysis skills. This position is responsible for transforming financial and operational data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions, enhance performance, and ensure compliance. The CPA credential adds credibility and depth to the analyst's understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Data Collection and Cleaning

  2. Gather data from accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, and external sources.

  3. Clean and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency before analysis

  4. Data Analysis and Interpretation

  5. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, and performance indicators.

  6. Use statistical techniques to interpret financial data and support decision-making.

  7. Financial Modeling and Forecasting

  8. Build models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning using historical and real-time data.

  9. Apply accounting principles to ensure models reflect accurate financial assumptions.

  10. Compliance and Audit Support

  11. Ensure financial data complies with accounting standards and tax regulations.

  12. Assist in internal and external audits by providing data-driven documentation and analysis.

  13. Process Improvement

  14. Identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and recommend data-driven solutions.

  15. Automate repetitive accounting tasks using analytics tools and scripts.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an active license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate are highly valued.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or data analytics.
  • Prior experience in auditing, financial reporting, or business intelligence roles is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
