Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer - Workday Compensation and Benefits to support, configure, and optimize our Workday platform. This role will be responsible for developing integrations, maintaining system configurations, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with HR and IT teams to ensure the platform effectively supports business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Workday modules (Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, Payroll, etc. depending on company scope).
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions.
  • Perform system testing for Workday releases, patches, and configuration updates.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Workday HCM certification(s) preferred (Core HCM, Integrations, Reporting, or other modules).
  • Provides subject matter expertise on Compensation and Benefits for Workday or one or more of the following Workday Modules: Payroll, Integration, Security and Data Conversion
  • Configures, customizes, and integrates vendor-sourced enterprise software with other internal systems like SAP
  • Proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data flows.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., XSLT, XML, Java, Python) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile or hybrid development environment.
