ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an
Accounting and Finance Manager
who can take charge of the financial health of the company and oversee all day-to-day accounting and compliance matters. This role is crucial in ensuring that our books are accurate, our reporting is timely, and our business stays compliant with local regulations.

You'll be hands-on in bookkeeping and month-end closing, but also strategic in financial reporting and planning. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing business where you can make a direct impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. FinancialManagement&Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, expense tracking).
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and monthly/quarterly/annual closings.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support business decision-making.
    2. Compliance&Audit
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage preparation and filing of tax returns and government-mandated
  • contributions.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies as
  • needed.
  • 3. Process&Controls
  • Implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard assets.
  • Review and improve financial workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
    4. OperationalFinance
  • Support procurement and vendor payment processing.
  • Manage bank relationships and monitor disbursements.
  • Support leadership with financial analysis and insights for business decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably with exposure
  • to both corporate and SME/startup settings – or experience in an auditing firm may be
  • seen valuable.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations, and statutory
  • compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with bookkeeping, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Odoo, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance hands-on tasks with big-picture
  • financial management.
  • Self-starter, reliable, and comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
