About the Role

We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented
Finance Manager
to lead the finance and accounting functions of our growing pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end
    financial closing
    activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of
    financial statements
    and
    statutory reports
    in accordance with local accounting and tax regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with
    BIR
    and other
    government reporting requirements
    , including taxation, audits, and regulatory filings.
  • Supervise the preparation of
    monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
    , and provide insights on financial performance and variances.
  • Lead and coordinate both
    internal and external audits
    , ensuring all findings are addressed and resolved promptly.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance
    financial policies and procedures
    to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency.
  • Manage
    budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
    activities in coordination with management and department heads.
  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, tax laws, and relevant government regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
    is
    required
    .
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of
    5–8 years of relevant experience
    , with solid background in
    financial closing, audit, taxation, and statutory reporting
    .
  • Proven experience in
    policy development
    ,
    financial controls
    , and
    process improvement
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    BIR regulations
    , government compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience in the
    pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
