The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall financial health of the organization. This includes providing strategic financial guidance, managing day-to-day financial operations, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and the ability to lead and mentor a finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Strategy:
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Create long-term business plans based on financial reports, market trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Conduct high-level financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide financial guidance and strategic support to senior management and other department heads.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, including cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective action.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and interpret cash flows, managing liquidity and ensuring financial stability.
  • Manage and monitor the company's financial systems and accounting processes.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, and sales results to evaluate the company's financial performance.
  • Auditing & Compliance:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and oversee the annual audit process.
  • Ensure all finance and accounting operations comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant federal and state laws.
  • Complete tax returns and other statutory compliance requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide performance feedback to a team of finance and accounting professionals.
  • Ensure all team members are trained on and effectively utilize financial software and tools.
  • Promote continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting and financial practices.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA, or CMA) is preferred.

  • CPA is advantage

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in financial management or a senior accounting role.
  • Proven experience in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Experience managing a team and overseeing an annual audit is highly desirable.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance professionals.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month
