About the role

Artech Technology Inc. is seeking a talented Tester - Performance / Load Runner to join our team on a contract basis in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Tester - Performance / Load Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. This is a contract position, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, executing and analysing performance and load tests to validate the performance and scalability of software applications
  2. Identifying and documenting performance bottlenecks and providing recommendations for improvements
  3. Automating performance and load testing processes using industry-standard tools like LoadRunner
  4. Collaborating with development teams to address performance issues and ensure high-quality software delivery
  5. Generating detailed performance test reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
  6. Continuously researching and implementing best practices in performance testing

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in performance and load testing of software applications
  2. Proficiency in using performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or Gatling
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot performance issues
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present test results and recommendations
  5. Experience in Agile development methodologies and test-driven development practices
  6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
