Job Description


• Helps prepare monthly, weekly and daily reports on production matrix and presents status updates if necessary.


• Helps oversee production stages to uphold consistent quality standards and identify areas for improvement.


• Documents and maintains detailed quality control records and reports.


• Reviews all in line monitoring documents at the end of the shift if it's completed and signed, and file accordingly.


• Monitors documents and ensures all required signatures are obtained.


• Ensures compliance in alignment with the GMP, HACCP, ISO and other food safety standard.


• Conducts annual internal GMP training/seminar to QC and Production personnel and orient GMP protocol to a new hired employees.


• Participates in identifying and troubleshooting quality issues, verifying and maintaining the control and implementing of corrective and preventive action as well as providing recommendations for process improvements.


• Implements documentation related to food safety standard such as GMP, HACCP, ISO, etc.


• Quarterly conducts internal GMP or Food Safety audit.


• Requests third party calibration of all QA/QC laboratory and in-line equipment once a year.


• Maintains third party calibration up to date.


• Maintains implementation of standard process established by R&D.


• Helps the Assistant QA/QC Manager in regulatory compliance such as FDA and other QAQC activities.


• Helps in investigation and validation of customer complaint and assists the assistant QAQC Manager in special projects.


• Develops and revises Quality Manual Procedures such as GMP, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, Work Instruction etc., in preparation for certification.


• Performs other functions that maybe assigned by the Assistant QA/QC Manager or QA/QC Manager from time to time and as the need arises.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or any food-related field
  • Proficiency in quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000)
  • Strong knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis
  • Experience with quality testing equipment and laboratory procedures
  • HACCP certification is preferred but not required
  • GMP training certification is preferred but not required
  • Internal auditor certification for ISO standards (desirable)
