Your Role As a CDI QA Specialist, you will: Assist in QA program build by identifying critical workflow aspects and leveraging automation tools to enhance efficiency. Monitor the performance of CDI staff using key productivity and accuracy metrics. Escalate production and QA concerns to management and collaborate with training teams on staff progress. Demonstrate expertise in quality processes and medical documentation standards. Provide training, coaching, and feedback to CDI team members to support performance improvement. Maintain QA records and audit results for CDI staff while mentoring team members to maximize potential. Review production and accuracy reports, provide actionable feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Collaborate with Operations, Training, and HR to enhance onboarding and on-the-job learning programs. Participate in client calibration calls and internal audits, presenting training achievements and QA outcomes. Complete special projects such as full CDI audits and other assigned duties on time. What You Need Non-negotiables At least 2 years of CDI or coding auditing experience in a BPO or healthcare setting Minimum of 2 years of acute care clinical experience (ICU or Med/Surg preferred) Bachelor of Science in Nursing Registered Nurse with active PHRN or USRN license Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, MS-DRG methodology, and risk adjustment Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech Preferred skills/expertise Master's degree or credential in business, healthcare, or related field Proficiency with CDI/coding technology and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and independent decision-making Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create impactful presentations Experience working in a matrixed environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
