Job role
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing renewal notices and reports for release to clients, intermediaries and branches.
Reviewing the renewal terms and conditions of policies prior to their release.
Completing all batch processes including reminders to clients, intermediaries and branches via email and text messages.
Liaising with adjacent departments to maintain prompt turnaround times.
Executing transactions in the system, including but not limited to updates and changes to policy information (endorsements) and cancellations.
Communicating vital information to relevant stakeholder groups in a prompt and professional manner.
Other Duties:
Taking an active role in the Performance Appraisal process as prescribed by company policy.
Participating in the department's action planning and strategy implementation.
Being ready to respond to changes within the department such as switching functions or teams.
Performing ad hoc tasks consistent with meeting the objectives of the department and company as a whole.
Must have skills
Ability to work through and makes sense of large sets of data, Ability to interpret and create reports, Willingness to adapt to change, Basic business writing skills
Good to have skills
Basic understanding of insurance
Ability to convey complex concepts to non-experts
