Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the inventory management of all hardware, software, and related assets. Ensure accurate records of inventory levels are maintained, coordinate with various departments to fulfill inventory needs, and optimize inventory procedures to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Areas of Responsibilities

Internal Relations

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and ensure accuracy in product descriptions and quality.
  • Coordinate outgoing deliveries, prepare delivery receipt and ensure timely dispatch
  • Maintain accurate record of assets, including tracking asset movements, conducting audits and updating asset database.
  • Securely store and manage service units or demo units, ensuring their availability for demonstrations, testing or service purposes
  • Work with relevant teams to facilitate PMA procedures and ensure timely returns and maintain RMA documentation.
  • Address internal inquiries related to inventory availability, Leadtime and stock adjustments promptly to prevent operational delays.

Planning & Controlling

  • Plan for warehouse capacity to ensure space is optimized based on upcoming inventory needs, and that storage conditions meet product requirements.
  • Plan for inventory turnover rates to ensure items move efficiently through the supply chain without aging in stock
  • Track real-time stock levels using inventory management systems, ensuring that actual inventory aligns with planned targets

Leading Responsibility

  • Set clear performance expectations and goals for the team in areas such as accuracy in stock counts, inventory turnover rates, and timely order fulfillment
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities based on team members' strengths and workload, ensuring all inventory-related activities are managed efficiently.
  • Lead inventory checks and taking corrective action when needed.

  • Ensure protection of customers information
  • Make sure that the computer has a proper security to maintain system confidentiality

Job Specifications

Work set up – may require working on a weekends or holiday

Physical effort – may require occasional lifting of heavy equipment

Travel frequency – may require visiting other warehouses

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, warehouse operations, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in excel for creating reports, conducting data analysis, and forecasting inventory needs.
  • Familiarity with barcoding systems, RFID technology and inventory tracking tools.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
