Junior Internal Auditor – Education & Training

The Role

As a Junior Internal Auditor, you will support the Audit & Quality team by carrying out structured internal audits, reviewing systems and records, and helping identify areas for improvement. This is an excellent entry-level role for someone looking to build a career in audit, assurance, and education quality management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with internal audit activities across training and assessment systems.
  • Conduct reviews of learning and assessment resources, ensuring alignment with requirements.
  • Audit assessment tools for accuracy, consistency, and fairness.
  • Check and maintain records such as training and assessment strategies, trainer/assessor qualifications, professional development logs, and evidence files.
  • Prepare audit reports, file reviews, and documentation summaries.
  • Support the Audit Manager in collating evidence, sampling files, and preparing audit packs.
  • Participate in post-audit follow-up, including monitoring corrective actions and documenting continuous improvement outcomes.

About You
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, and comfortable working with structured processes.
  • Strong written English and reporting skills.
  • Interest in audit, assurance, or quality review work
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of audit or quality management frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001:2015).
  • Experience with document management systems or LMS/SMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools such as SharePoint or Google Drive.
